Congratulations 2021 Graduates!

WHERE ARE THEY GOING NOW? MAKING MOVES BEFORE GRADUATION!

Spring and Summer graduates and friends, Elizabeth Ogunbunmi (left) and Madison Levinson (right), are both continuing their paths as Wildcats! Elizabeth is now pursuing her PhD in Molecular & Cellular Biology, and Madison is a doctoral student in the PhD of Molecular Medicine at the University of Arizona. Both started their doctoral coursework before their graduation date, juggling employments and double the workload.

Chansorena Pok, graduate from Summer 2021, will also be continuing on with her academia, except in Chicago, Illinois at Rush University on an all-expenses paid trip as a doctoral student!

Spring 2021 graduate, Joseph Alcorn from the Controlled Environment Agriculture track, accepted a position from Sensei Ag in Sacramento, California. He is now the Lead R&D Grower and is helping implement trials of various food crops in controlled environments. 

Summer 2021 graduate, Luiza Samora from the Molecular & Cellular Biology track, had her research focus on the components of the COVID-19 virus. Due to this research, Luiza secured a position with Pfizer as an Associate Scientist before her graduation date!

Priya Zukosky of the Industrial Microbial Biotechnology track is a Summer 2021 graduate that researched on COVID-19 alongside Luiza Samora. However, Priya is taking on the more professionalism side of the industry, and is now enrolled at James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona in their Juris Doctor (law degree) program this fall.
